The Lamborghini Gallardo has two choices of main transmissions the H box six speed manual and an advanced six speed electro hydraulically controlled semi automatic robotized manual. The E gear allows the driver of the Lamborghini Gallardo to make their shifts much faster than what they would do in the manual transmission. This enables the driver to shift up and down using the special paddles that can be found situated behind the steering wheel, the driver can also switch into automatic mode at any point.
