Driving in Finland by Ultimate-GT
On amazing winter ice circuits in Lapland Finland Juha Kankkunen, 4 time World Rally Champion will teach you how to control a supercar at high speeds and how to drift a hairpin bend with perfect control. The weather in Finland also helps the cause for driving, The temperture will be around -10 Farenheiht which equates to -23.5 Celsius. Warm clothing that you would be comfortable in would always be recomended whilst you are on these trips with us.
During the event your driving skills will advance rapidly. A personal instructor will be coaching you one-to-one at all times with Juha Kankkunen over seeing every step of your training whilst Driving in Finland.

We offer two types of packages to our customers whilst Driving in Finland.

Juha Kankkunen was born in Laukaa in Finland on the 2nd April 1959, he is a former Finnish rally driver. He has won 23 world rallies and also four drivers world championship titles in his team career in the WRC which lasted from 1983 until 2002 when he retired. Kankkunen has managed to be world champion with three different manufacturers in the series.
Juha was signed by the Toyota umbrella in 1983 and tool his first win in the World Rally Championship in the third year that he was with the team. Due to Juha’s top performances with Toyota , Peugeot offered him a deal which he accepted in 1986, Peugeot at this time was the defending champions where he became the series youngest ever champion. Peugeot withdrew from the following years championship and Kankkunen moved to rival team Lancia and defended his highly sought after title successfully.
Juha Kankkunen returned to Toyota for two years then left to go to Lancia where he gained a third title to add to his collection in 1991. 1993 was a great year for Kankkunen where he rejoined the Toyota team and won his fourth title.
Outside of the WRC world Juha’s achievements included winning the Dakar Rally on 1988 and the Race of Champions in 1988 and also 1991. Juha has worked in the fields of business and also politics. From 2007 to 2011, he held the world speed record on ice in a Bentley Continental GT.
